Jaime and Jason were married on a balmy 70-degree day in November at the beautiful Pleasant Valley Country Club in Sutton, MA. Jaime wore a stunning champagne gown, and Jason wore his dress blues. (THANK YOU for serving, Jason!)
I don’t know if I’ve ever met a couple more in love than these two. Seriously.
Here’s what they had to say about their relationship and their big day.
Tell us how you first met. Who, what, when, where, why? Give us the dirty details.
Met 14 years ago after Jaime’s homecoming dance.
When did you know he/she was the one? Was there something he/she did?, etc.
When Jaime said I love you before I left for deployment… I had not seen her in over 5 years.
Tell us about the proposal. (Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning? , how did you feel? Nervous, excited, freaking out?)
After deployment Jason and I went to Key West and Jason proposed. He told me he was felt fine in a fire fight overseas but couldn’t believe how nervous he was asking for my hand in marriage. He proposed thinking New Year’s was on the 30th and argued that there was no 31st… he had to ask the waiter and guests lol. So I was suprised… thought he was going to ask eventually but not then!
Tell us the one thing you love most about each other.
That no matter what we always be there for one another… it is wonderful to know you are marrying your best friend, lover and soulmate.
If you feel comfortable, please share with us something sill or quirky the other person does.
Jason sings “you are my sunshine” to me every night before bed… he always sang it to me whenever we would talk during deployment.
Besides getting married – what’s the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?
Seeing friends and family… then leaving for Aruba!!!!!
What’s your theme or what inspired your décor?
My dress color inspired my them: vintage, tea stained & earthy colors.
Her gorgeous bouquet from Herbert Berg Florist.
I was so happy when they told me they wanted to do a first look. I think every couple should do this. It’s such a nice time to just take each other in without being pulled in a million directions from everyone else.
They could not have had a better November day. It was almost 70 degrees!
This was on their head table. SO SWEET.
This cake from Bean Counter Bakery in Shrewbury was heavenly!
Brian from Champagne Toast definitely kept the party rockin’ all night!
Thank you so much Mr. & Mrs. Lemay for choosing me to capture your big day. And a huge thank you to my dear friend Heather Best of Heather Best Photography for second shooting for me!
