The many faces of Alex… Meet my 3.5 year old son who is always keeping me on my toes one way or another!
Tonight I wanted to work on my lighting skills, and as always Alex wanted to be my model. I obliged seeing as my 15 year old wanted nothing to do with it!
I wanted to try out my new Rogue colored gels on my speed light (which I kind of failed at so don’t judge the uneven color of the backdrop 😉 ). My goal is to be able to use this to mix up the backdrop look when I’m shooting indoors! Plus, every time I watch the interviews on The Little Couple or 19 Kids and Counting, I think it looks pretty cool LOL!
This was interesting to say the least. Alex was either way into it or was more interested in playing with my phone or the huge umbrella! Below is the result… I couldn’t help but laugh when I uploaded all of these!
(PS. He is pretty darn cute so if any modeling agencies want him, hit me up 😉 )
(In case any photographers are wondering what lens this is… it’s my 35mm 1.4L. I am so IN LOVE with it!! Not only is it tack sharp, but it also saved my behind recently when I couldn’t use my flash! Shoot wide and you’re golden!)
He has eyelashes to die for!
His tough guy face perhaps?
And then my angel one second later! Those eyes kill me!!!
LOVE his laugh!!
He could model, don’t you agree?!
Channeling his inner Eminem.
Mom, you’ve taken SO many pictures!
